The Reno Community earned its reputation based off of the casinos here, but Reno is more than just free drinks at the slot machines, cheap buffets, and gambling. When you come to Reno we encourage you to leave those preconceived notions behind you, because this is Reno Tahoe and when you are here the altitude is not the only thing that will take your breath away.

Regardless of when you visit the Reno Community you will always have something to do, whether it is visiting one of the 18 world-class ski resorts during the winter or kayaking down the Truckee river during the summer there is always something to do. If you are into sports, the Reno Community has you covered. Reno boasts an NCAA collegiate athletics program, the Nevada Wolf Pack (GO PACK!), as well as a Triple-A baseball team, the Reno Aces, an NBA farm team, the Reno Bighorns, over 50 golf courses, and the National Bowling Stadium right in the heart of downtown. If organized athletics are not your thing then take a short drive to Lake Tahoe National Forest where you will have immediate access to world-class vistas, relaxing beaches, and lots world class eateries.

If you are into nightlife, you are in luck! Reno is a 24-hour town where there is always something going on. Whether you’re looking for a show, a night of dancing, to be entertained by dueling pianos, or you’re looking to spend a romantic evening out on the town, there’s always an option available for you.
